What’s Happening Healdsburg

Last week Shana saw the flyer for my Day-in-the-Life event posted in the Palette Art cafe. She was excited about my new media perspective and mentioned it on her social media blog.

Today, I met Shana at the Palette Art. She was energetic and social media savvy and–well just excited in general. She’s agreed to head up the What’s Happening Healdsburg column for the magazine. So I just wanted to introduce Shana to the readership. She’s a social media marketing consultant who uses her many social networks to promote businesses and events using new media. For HealdburgMagazine.com, she’ll be contributing content about local events in and around Healdsburg and working to populate the What’s Happening calendar.

We also started a Facebook group: What’s Happening Healdsburg. We’re going to use it for special announcements, to promote some local events, for members to promote their own events and to organize people to attend special events. It will be a social network for people who want to know what’s happening in Healdsburg. So, go ahead. Join the group.

I also registered the domain name WhatsHappeningHealdsburg.com…which just now points to the HealdsburgMagazine.com website, until I can determine a more permanent virtual home.
